Placards
For POISON (PGl or PGII, other than inhalation hazard) placard 454 kg (1,001 lbs) or more.In addition to complying with 49 CFR §172.519, the background on the POISON placard must be white. The symbol, text, class number and inner border must be black. The word “TOXIC” may be used in lieu of the word “POISON”.

Placard
For POISON-INHALATION HAZARD (Division 6.1), inhalation hazard only, placard any quantity.In addition to complying with 49 CFR §172.519, the background on the POISON INHALATION HAZARD placard and the symbol must be white. The background of the upper diamond must be black and the lower point of the upper diamond must be 65 mm (25⁄8) above the horizontal center line. The text, class number, and inner border must be black.

Label
In addition to complying with 49 CFR §172.407, the background on the POISON INHALATION HAZARD label and the symbol must be white. The background of the upper diamond must be black and the lower point of the upper diamond must be 14 mm (0.54 inches) above the horizontal center line.The labels must be as follows:
