Mercury nitride


Mercury nitride describes chemical compounds that contain mercury cations and nitrido anions. Binary mercury nitrides, e.g. stoichiometrically compounds such as Hg3N2, are not well characterized and are probably unstable in the condensed phase under ordinary conditions.
