Placard

For OXIDIZER placard 454 kg (1,001 lbs) or more.
In addition to complying with 49 CFR §172.519, the background color on the OXIDIZER placard must be yellow. The symbol, text, division number and inner border must be black.

General Information & Assignment

Placards

For ORGANIC PEROXIDE (other than TYPE B, temperature controlled), placard 454 kg (1,001 lbs) or more. For ORGANIC PEROXIDE (Division 5.2), Type B, temperature controlled, placard any quantity.
In addition to complying with 49 CFR §172.519, the background on the ORGANIC PEROXIDE placard must be red in the top half and yellow in the lower half. The text, division number and inner border must be black; the symbol may be either black or white.
