Most session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may then no longer work.

Server log files

These logs are used to operate and secure the site and for troubleshooting. They are not combined with marketing profiles. Retention follows our host’s standard periods unless longer storage is required for security incidents.

Registration and “My HazMat”

If you create a free member account, we store the information you provide at registration (such as login name and e-mail address) and hazardous-material entries you save, together with the IP address and time of registration (to detect misuse).

This data is used only to provide your account, import/export, and related features. It is not sold to third parties.

You can review and export personal data linked to your account via My account → export where that function is available.

Contact and feedback

You may contact us by e-mail at mail@hazmattool.com or through the feedback form. We do not offer telephone support.

Messages and optional contact details are stored only to handle your request. They are not used for unrelated marketing.

Web analytics (Matomo)

We use Matomo (self-hosted at matomo.preventize.com) to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Matomo may set cookies. Data processed can include pages visited, referrer, browser, and a truncated or anonymized IP address.

IP addresses are anonymized before storage where this feature is enabled in Matomo. Analytics data is not sold. We do not use Matomo to track you across unrelated websites.

Opt out of Matomo analytics — use the control below. It sets an opt-out cookie in your browser. If you clear all cookies, you may need to opt out again.

Google AdSense

Some pages display advertisements through Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, USA). Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve and measure ads, which can involve processing of IP address, browser information, and interaction with ad formats.

Where required by law, ads are shown only after you consent via the cookie/consent mechanism on this site. You can withdraw consent in your browser or through Google’s ad settings: Google Ads Settings.
